by Skydive Fiji are recognised by The Civil
Aviation Authority of the Fiji Islands, the body responsible for all
aviation safety in Fiji. The APF is an internationally recognized and world leader in the regulation of Sports parachuting. The APF is recognised by both the the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, the world air sports federation and The Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, the body responsible for all aviation safety in Australia. Skydive Fiji Instructors are highly experienced, qualified professional skydiving instructors. The technology
utilised in today's sport parachuting equipment is light years ahead
of the equipment used in the '60s , '70s and 80's. The materials are
stronger, lighter and built to TSO'd standards. Not to mention the Tandem Instructor you will be jumping with, is highly experienced. Skydive Fiji requires that our Tandem Instructors have at least 1,000 jumps before they start training to become a Tandem Instructor. Most of our Tandem Instructors have far more jumps, our Chief Instructor has over 20,000 jumps! Tandem
canopies are actually rectangular in shape, and when open, act like
an aeroplane wing.They
are more like gliders. |
